Myofascial Release Mississauga is ready to provide you with an individualized healing experience. We want to change how you feel in your body by addressing all areas involved; past trauma, physical pain, fascial restrictions and chronic conditions.
We believe in an integrative approach to pain management which is why all our practitioners have training in Myofascial Release as trademarked by John Barnes. Treatments include Physiotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Movement Therapy. We have also incorporated Movement Therapies: Explore Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi with instructors who understand fascial patterns of restriction.
Justin is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelors of Physical and Health Education (2009) and Master of Science in Physical Therapy (2011). Justin began his journey into healthcare as a student athlete competing in Competitive Lifesaving and Simulated Emergency Response. He has experience as a team therapist in Track and Field and Cross Country Running, and extensive hospital experience in Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation, Paediatric Rheumatology, Falls Prevention, and Complex Continuing Care.
Justin's first exposure to Myofascial Release was as a student when he shadowed an Expert Level Therapist for 5 weeks as part of his clinical training. From that moment he knew that this approach to health and wellness and treatment of the human would provide him with rich learning opportunities to grow alongside his patients. He approaches every new interaction with this goal in mind.
Some career highlights include publication in Physiotherapy Canada, volunteer work as a Reiki practitioner in Palliative Care at a local hospital, and participation in an international research project on the effects of an evidence based exercise and behavioural intervention program on people suffering from vertebral fractures due to Osteoporosis.
Justin is booking appointments at his office in Streetsville, Mississauga.

Derrin received his Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his inquisitive mind quickly led him to develop his skills in Fascial Therapy, which utilizes the assessment and treatment techniques of John Barnes Myofascial Release and related fascial treatment disciplines.
He has successfully treated a wide variety of patients in multiple countries as both a PT and RMT including post-operates college athletes,
chronic pain sufferers, neurological patients, and those with everyday aches and pains.
He utilizes an approach incorporating tissue techniques targeting the fascial system, which connects and supports our body from head to toe, rehabilitative exercises to restore lost strength, and mobility, and unique functional education to retrain and empower people in correctly using their bodies to reduce pain and regain the ability to independently perform their chosen activities.
In his spare time, he participates in an eclectic mix of sports including several martial arts, and taking on those tough hikes in the beautiful Escarpment Country with his family.
