I have been practicing John F. Barnes myofascial release (JFBMFR) for 12 years and physical therapy for 26 years. I began to feel that something was missing from my traditional physical therapy practice. Originally, I began searching for treatment methods that could help children with disabilities. I attended the John F. Barnes Pediatric Seminar in 2009. This was the missing link, I was searching for.
I have owned and operated Harmony Physical Therapy since 2007. My search to find and learn approaches to healing that encompass the entire human being, physically and emotionally, has taken me to the JFBMFR method. With more than 500 hours of continuing education in JFBMFR, this approach has changed the way I practice Physical Therapy. When releasing the fascial system, you are releasing restrictions in the whole human being, focusing on finding and treating the cause of my clients symptoms, which goes much deeper than just treating the symptoms. The result is a more permanent healing and connection of the body and mind together.
I currently provide JFBMFR for all people of all ages.
